Just your favorite mental health blogger, coming out of the depths of hibernation to wish you a Happy New Year and make some overdue apologies. It’s been a hot minute since we caught up and I’m here to reveal where I’ve been hiding.
First things first, Happy New Year! 🎉 I hope your 2024 is shaping up to be as fabulous as you are. Let’s address the elephant in the room: I’ve been missing. Radio silence. Ghosting. Call it what you want, but I promise you it’s not you; it’s me. I was in a mental health break.
Food and care of the soul are all we need
So what’s the deal? Well, picture this: yours truly, in your pajamas, drinking chamomile tea and watching cat videos online. That’s right, I took a step away from the blogosphere and embarked on a wild ride called the “Self-Care Extravaganza.”
Turns out my body decided it needed a vacation and who am I to argue with my spleen? I traded blog drafts for fuzzy socks, deadlines for daytime naps, and SEO for essential oils. Let me tell you, it was like a spa day for my soul.
But the good news? Now I’m back! Rejuvenated and ready to take on 2024 like a caffeinated squirrel on a trampoline. Consider this my re-entry into the virtual realm, complete with jazz hands and confetti cannons. My approach for 2024 is a deliberate and conscious effort to feed my inner self with the sustenance it craves: to nourish and nourish the soul.
I owe you a huge thank you for your patience during my blogging. You are the real MVPs and I’m sending you virtual hugs, high fives, and a carrier pigeon carrying a muffin basket full of gratitude.
